Haven made interesting use of the space that was once Blue Velvet (a favorite hangout of mine), putting a small Asian-fusion restaurant on the main level and the bar, karaoke and private gaming on the upper level.

SGD Tofu & BBQ is one of several Korean restaurants in Madison that opened around the same time, but unlike the others, it does not have all-you-can-eat/grill-your-own Korean BBQ.

The Madison area gained an outpost of The Original Steaks and Hoagies after it opened inside the Citgo gas station in Waunakee earlier this year. For such a small space, the mostly carryout restaurant sure sports a lengthy menu.
