
For the first time in several years, we’re seeing an uptick in New Year’s Eve celebrations, although it would be nice to see more events in the suburbs.
Here’s a curated list of parties and events happening on New Year’s Eve in and around Madison, WI:
- The Bur Oak: DJ, taco bar and countdowns at 10 p.m. and midnight. Tickets are $30 + fee.
- Concourse Hotel: Dinner, comedy and live music. Accommodation and dining packages start at $399.
- East Side Club: Live music, free appetizers and champagne toast. Tickets are $80.
- Essen Haus and Come Back In: Special menu plus live music starting at 9 p.m. Free entry.
- Garver Feed Mill: All ages party with Gimme Gimme Disco theme. Tickets are $30-$40.
- Great Dane (Downtown): DJ starting at 9 p.m. and champagne toast. Admission is $10.
- Ivory Room: A self-proclaimed extravaganza with dueling pianos and champagne toast. Tickets start at $25.77.
- Liquid: Two stages, balloon drop, VJ and video countdown for 18+. Ticket packages are $20-$129.
- Lone Girl Brewing Co.: No bar crawl via bus this year. Instead, DJ, snacks and $25 for all-you-can-drink tap beer.
- Lucille: Hors d’oeuvres, pizza, DJ and open bar. Tickets start at $120 + fees.
- Northside Lounge: A speakeasy-themed party with food, cocktails and midnight toast. Tickets are $120.
- One Social Food Hall: DJ, photo booth and champagne toast. Free to attend.
- Red Rock Saloon: Various open bar packages, champagne toast and live music. Tickets start at $35.71.
- Ryan’s Retro Arcade: Neon party with unlimited arcade play, goodie bags and countdowns at 10 p.m. and midnight. Tickets are $20.
- The Sylvee: 18+ dance party with the top hits from 2025. Tickets start at $19.60.
- Tavernakaya: A late party running from 10 p.m. – 4 a.m., with a DJ and a champagne toast. Admission is $20-$25.
- Tasting Room of Monona: “Central Park Promenade”-themed party with live entertainment and a cigar-and-champagne toast. Tickets are $154 + fee.
- Whiskey Jacks: DJ, pizza bar and open bar. Tickets are $57.68.
Keep in mind that many restaurants are having New Year’s Eve dinner specials, and many bars will have some sort of drink special and/or live music to ring in 2026.
