Coco Polo Bliss

Coco Polo BlissCoco Polo bliss is a line of sugar-free chocolates with a purpose, and I accepted an offer to try it.

When I say purpose, I mean it. Founder Diane Yamate’s mission was to make chocolate safe and enjoyable for diabetics and people with dietary needs.

As an upcycle certified brand, Coco Polo uses the entire cocoa fruit to reduce waste, increase farmer equity and enhance natural sweetness, plus it uses recyclable materials for its packaging.

The chocolate gets its sweetness from the aforementioned entire cacao fruit plus some non-GMO stevia. It is vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and made from sustainably sourced ingredients like pea protein and oat milk.

Coco Polo bliss comes in three variations ($16.99 for four packets of three): Absolute Pure, Raspberry Hibiscus and Whole Espresso Bean Infused. Each packet has 160-170 calories and 11-12 g. of fat.

I enjoyed the chocolate. Right off the bat, I was pleasantly surprised by how creamy it was, like it was a milk chocolate bar. The Absolute Pure version had a delightful fruitiness that was subtle yet provided enough sweetness to the chocolate.

As a bonus, Coco Polo Bliss is full of flavonoids, which have a wide range of health benefits, including boosting brain function.

You can purchase Coco Polo bliss on its website.
