So Good So You

So Good So You BeautyI make it a point to consume probiotics on a regular basis, so I didn’t hesitate to accept an offer to try So Good So You Organic Cold-Pressed Juice Shots.

The company was founded on the idea that the products we buy and use are a direct connection to our larger community and a greater purpose. The organic cold-pressed juice shots are served in 50 ml bottles ($3.99) and come in a ton of flavors that are categorized as probiotic (immunity, detox, beauty, calm, happy, digestion and metabolism) or energy.

I tried the one called Beauty. It is meant to help your hair, skin and nails “shine bright” through its inclusion of silica, which helps form the building blocks of collagen. Beauty is made primarily from organic grapefruit juice, organic apple juice and organic aronia berry juice. The juices balanced each other perfectly, so it wasn’t sour or tart. I liked it so much that I could have had an entire glass of it.

Each serving of Beauty has 25 calories, 6 g. of carbs and 7 mg of Vitamin C.

More about aronia berries: They are pome fruits that are native to the United States and grow well in the American Midwest with little-to-no pesticides. Aronia berries are incredibly nutrient-dense and are filled with Vitamins C, B1, B2, B6, and K, as well as minerals like sodium, potassium, zinc, iron, magnesium and calcium.

The American Aronia Accelerator (A3) is a network of farmers and suppliers of natural products derived from aronia berry. Its network includes experienced distributors who can supply whole aronia berries or aronia in nutrient-dense powder, concentrate, or frozen form to food and beverage, nutraceuticals, and skincare manufacturers.
