Leinenkugel’s Honey Lemon Light

Leinenkugel's Honey Lemon LightLeinenkugel’s has launched a new beer called Honey Lemon Light, and I was happy to accept an offer to try it.

This golden lager blends the taste of real lemon juice (without being sour) with the sweetness of locally sourced honey from Wisconsin. I liked the aroma of the lemon and how refreshing and smooth the beer was.

“It’s flavor-forward, which is what consumers expect from a Leinenkugel’s beer,” Matt Ferebee, senior marketing manager for Leinenkugel’s, said in a blog post. “Honey Lemon Light is Leinenkugel’s answer to increasing consumer demand for lighter, low-calorie beers that still deliver on flavor, he says.

Each can is 99 calories and 4% ABV. Honey Lemon Light also is part of Leinenkugel’s Lodge Pack variety pack, which launched earlier this year.

You can buy Honey Lemon Light throughout Madison, including at Festival Foods, Pick N Save and Kwik Trip, now through September.
