Central Perk Coffee

Central Perk CoffeeAttention fans of “Friends.” You can now enjoy “Friends”-themed coffee–which I accepted an offer to try–thanks to the newly launched Central Perk Coffee Company.

One of the key players behind Central Perk is renowned chef Tom Colicchio of Bravo’s “Top Chef.”

“Our goal with this partnership and the Central Perk brand, like all of my food and beverage enterprises, is to secure the best ingredients and then deliver superior products and services for a great customer experience,” Colicchio said in a statement. “With Central Perk, we can’t wait to offer friends old and new a really enjoyable premium cup of coffee and hope they settle in with us for the next chapter of this beloved story.”

The coffee comes in three flavors:

  • “How You Doin’?” (medium roast)
  • “Pivot Blend” (medium/dark roast)
  • “We Were on a Coffee Break” (dark roast)

I enjoyed the How You Doin’. It’s a little lighter than other medium roasts, and it has a hint of chocolate to it.

You can buy Central Perk coffee on its website, including as a subscription. A 10-oz bag of whole beans is $16.99, a 10-oz. bag of ground coffee is $16.99 and a box of 12 pods is $16.99.

Of note, the first location of Central Perk Coffeehouse will open in 2023, with a location TBA.
