DC Legends of Tomorrow Season Four

dc-legends-of-tomorrow-bd-boxart1It’s here! DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Fourth Season on Blu-ray ($29.98) and DVD ($24.98) comes out today, Sept. 24. I happily accepted an offer from Warner Bros. to receive and review the video.

Here’s how the season starts: the Legends have just completed fixing the timeline, only to discover that there’s a magical creature (an evil unicorn) hiding at Woodstock. As typical of the show, the episode is fast-paced and witty with some hilarious moments.

Besides all 16 episodes, the Blu-ray discs include an epic storytelling featurette, deleted scenes and a gag reel. (You gotta see Brandon Rousch try to dance.)

“Over the past four seasons, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has captivated audiences through its incredible action and impressive special effects,” WBHE Senior Vice President, Television Marketing Rosemary Markson said in a statement. “We’re excited to release the Blu-ray–the only format with in-depth bonus content in addition to the 16 action-packed episodes from season four for the DC Fanboys and loyal series fanbase.”

According to a release, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” is The CW’s No. 3 show among total viewers.  Season 4 sees Matt Ryan back as John Constantine.
