Several years ago, I read an article that said most people don’t wash adequately their fruits and vegetables. As a result, I started using paper towels or towels to further scrub the surface of fruits and vegetables, especially ones from my CSA, after rinsing them off.

Now, I can use Arm & Hammer Fruit & Vegetable Wash ($5), which I accepted an offer to try out. It’s made primarily from Arm & Hammer baking soda, lemon oil and salt to eliminate more than 90 percent of pesticide residue while also washing away wax and soil. (more…)
