I don't know what Brocach did to their burgers, but they went from being mediocre to being absolutely delicious. I'd put them in a blind taste test for the best against any of the Madison staples of burger goodness. I'll admit I like it there more in the winter, the dark interior feels a little too gloomy for summer evenings, and it gets loud if you're trying to have a dinner conversation later in the evening. Good comfort food all around though!

Brocah does the standard pub thing large and relatively well - but don't expect to have a conversation as the night goes on and gets noisy. The upstairs bar can offer quicker service.
