I've only been there late on weekends so my impression is meat market. Not necessarily a bad thing.

They have a good happy hour and a lot of space, so you don't have to fight to find a place to sit. The crowd gets pretty interesting on the weekends due to a completely random cross section of Madison somehow converging upon this bar.
