A pleasant surprise was seeing the personalized menus as we sat down. Every course was to die for, and the Riesling was the best I'd ever tasted. You'll walk out stuffed -- if not from the meal itself, then from the surprise courses offered. For us, this meant chilled muskmelon gazpacho, a glass of 1996 Spätlese Riesling, and three small pieces of dessert. The waitstaff was gracious and knowledgeable. I'd give the restaurant five stars if not for the atmosphere, which I found too noisy and distracting. The restaurant isn't spacious enough to offer much privacy. Still, it's worth a visit!

This restaurant is definitely worth the money. They also just started doing a $35 fixed price three course meal on Tuesday through Thursday nights, which is a great chance to check it out without dropping hundreds of dollars.

I didn't think I'd say it, but it honestly is worth the money. Wonderful local food paired expertly with wine - definitely do a flight with your meal! Despite the price, I found the atmosphere comfortable and the staff friendly (unlike some other upscale local places - I\'m looking at you, Harvest). I thought the personalized menus were cheesy at first, but afterwards, I wanted something to remember the meal by.

Believe the hype. Year in and year out Madison's best restaurant. The local seasonal ingredients are utilized in such creative methods. Every dollar you spend you get back and then some as Chef Miller will send out some between course surprises throughout the night.
