While there are endless ways to customize your donuts, an easier approach is to choose among the 24 &#8220;Fan Favorites.&#8221; These include the Sand Dollar (creamy vanilla and coconut) and the French Toast (maple icing, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar).<\/p>\n<p>I got a dozen ($25) in the Fan Favorites box. Other boxes include the Breakfast Dozen, Random Dozen and Party Dozen. Some notes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Maple Bacon was topped with chopped bacon for a nice mix of sweet and salty.<\/li>\n<li>The S&#8217;Mores didn&#8217;t quite hit the mark for its namesake, since it used graham cracker crumbs that were too fine.<\/li>\n<li>I knew I would like the Boardwalk, which has bits of Oreos, powdered sugar and a vanilla drizzle.<\/li>\n<li>My Blueberry Pancake was missing the powdered sugar but was still enjoyable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-9690\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/20250214_120131-300x246.jpg\" alt=\"Duck Donuts\" width=\"300\" height=\"246\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/20250214_120131-300x246.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/20250214_120131-1024x838.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/20250214_120131-768x629.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/20250214_120131.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>I was surprised to see sandwiches on the menu. You get your preference of donut or English muffin but of course, you&#8217;re going to get a donut. I tried the sausage, egg and cheese donut ($6). It&#8217;s just a normal cake donut with no toppings, but I liked it better because you get the unfettered fried flavor of the donut to complement the delicious egg and sausage.<\/p>\n<p>Just for the heck of it, I also got a donut-topped milkshake ($7). Your choices are S&#8217;mores, Cookies &amp; Cream or Strawberry, and I elected for the Cookies &amp; Cream, which was outstanding. I appreciated that the Oreo cookies were blended enough that they could pass through the straw. My milkshake was topped by&#8211;get this&#8211;a cookies and cream donut.
