\"PizzaPizza Supreme<\/a> is a little place on the southwest side of Madison that provides a tasty option for your pizza and pasta cravings, despite a recurring issue of missing toppings.<\/p>\n

Let’s start by talking about the crust. It’s a little bit thicker than New York style, and it was big enough that it was sort of like eating a breadstick. Subsequently, I would have liked some dipping sauce.<\/p>\n

You can build your own pizza or select one of the specialty pizzas. The namesake Supreme ($18 for 12″, $21 for 14″) has pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, peppers, mushrooms, black olives and onions. The ingredients are well-balanced, making for a delicious pizza.<\/p>\n

Also worth ordering is the Meat Lovers ($17 for 12″, $20 for 14″). Topped with Canadian bacon, pepperoni, bacon bits (almost all of which was clumped on a few slices) and sausage (which was missing), it had a nice saltiness to it, and I mean then a good way.<\/p>\n

The Margherita pizza ($14 for 12″, $17 for 14″) was disappointing. I couldn’t find much basil–maybe two pieces that were shriveled up. I added pepperoni to it, and it was a good thing I did–otherwise, this would have essentially been a plain cheese pizza.<\/p>\n

Other pizzas include the Mexicana and Buffalo chicken.<\/p>\n

\"PizzaSupreme Pizza also serves some good pasta dishes, and you can choose between spaghetti and penne with each order. The pomodoro sauce pasta ($8.99) was enjoyable despite missing most of the bacon bits (I counted two pieces). It’s tossed gently in the sauce, yet you can still taste the garlic, basil and tomatoes.<\/p>\n

The carbonara ($8.99), which came with a perfect amount of diced pancetta, parmesan and egg yolk, was equally outstanding. This dish had a subtle creaminess to it and wasn’t oily or greasy.<\/p>\n
