So what you see on the restaurant&#8217;s website is out of date.<\/p>\n<p>The fried chicken ($6.49 for two pieces, $10.99 for four, $19.99 for eight) is not greasy and is tender and juicy. The seasoning is a little different from other fried chicken, giving it a unique flavor. I received a wing and a thigh without specifying.<\/p>\n<p>I thought the fried chicken sandwich ($7.99) would be similar, but it was different in a good way. The patty had the perfect amount of breading, leading to good crispiness outside and tenderness inside. I also liked the house pickles, which brought a slight sourness to the sandwich. Meanwhile, the Northside hot sauce has some much-appreciated kick to it (you can get regular sauce if you prefer).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-8301\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/20230112_114920-256x300.jpg\" alt=\"Zippy Lube\" width=\"256\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/20230112_114920-256x300.jpg 256w, https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/20230112_114920-873x1024.jpg 873w, https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/20230112_114920-768x901.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/20230112_114920-1309x1536.jpg 1309w, https:\/\/www.eatdrinkmadison.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/20230112_114920.jpg 1705w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 256px) 100vw, 256px\" \/>Hot N&#8217; Fresh donuts are 99 cents each, while premium donuts are $1.49 each. The chocolate vanilla buttercream was dry, although it looked like it had been sitting out for several hours. At least the buttercream was very good.<\/p>\n<p>I had better luck with the pink strawberry donut. The frosting has some slight strawberry flavor to it, but you&#8217;re mostly tasting the donut itself, which had an enjoyable fried flavor.<\/p>\n<p>Among the sides, I highly recommend the mac n&#8217; cheese ($3.99 for small, $7.99 for large). It&#8217;s a super creamy blend of American and sharp cheddar with excellent consistency.
