\"Kimberly's\"If you’re ever driving on Wisconsin Dells Parkway from Lake Delton to Wisconsin Dells, stay straight instead of turning right where Munroe Avenue starts, and you’ll find Kimberly’s Mexican Restaurant<\/a> on your left.<\/p>\n

Half the space is a grocery store, and the other half is a small restaurant serving some outstanding Mexican food. In most cases, items are uniformly priced with your choice of meat.<\/p>\n

For example, all burritos are $9.99. They are packed with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream, and they have sliced jalapenos, a welcome addition. I picked asada (steak) and thought it was tasty.<\/p>\n

I loved all the tacos ($3) that I ordered. Each comes with onions and cilantro on corn tortillas, but you can add sour cream, lettuce, tomato and cheese for $1, as well as avocado for $1, but neither is necessary. The tripa (tripe) was tender, as was the lengua (tongue), while the arrachera (skirt steak) had a nice char to it.<\/p>\n

\"Kimberly's\"Let me praise the gordita ($3.99) for its delicious fried shell, which held together a lot of ingredients. Inside are beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream, plus a decent amount of meat (in this case, I got asada again).<\/p>\n

One other item I tried was the quesadilla ($5.99). It was well made but a little bland. Fortunately, the housemade red and green salsas on your table have good flavor and some kick. I also used some on my gordita and burrito.<\/p>\n

The rest of the menu has salads, tortas, sopas, fajitas and dinner entrees such as pork chops ($13.99) and grilled chicken breast ($13.99).<\/p>\n
