Frozen vegetables are actually better for you and sometimes taste better than fresh because they are picked at the peak of freshness and freezing locks in the nutrients.

Just one of the many reasons why processed does not necessarily = bad. Great post!

Wow, I can't believe my ears. Surge Delivery Cafe is WONDERFUL. I have tried nearly every sandwich they offer and I love em all. My co-workers love this place too...we order from Surge every chance we get! And the name of the cafe is fine! In fact it's perfect because it's yummy cafe food with delivery service, and that my friend is HARD to find around the area. I work up on East Wash and Surge is the only cafe with healthy food choices that will deliver to us- so THERE Mr. Critical; why don't you pick on someone your own size and who is really in need of a menu change....like Schlotzskys Deli, who serves cheap ice berg lettuce and offer no alternatives, or Jimi Johns who does the same. Surge is the only delivery cafe in the area who allows you to choose between fresh leafy greens, and they are generous with them...none of this one leaf B.S. Maybe you just don't like vegetables sir, so enjoy your Mickey D's. One more thing, Surge's prices are unbeatable!for under 5 bucks you get a healthy delightful meal!

Your menu looks fun! Hope you get to make it one day. My family always does irreverent spins on the classics. This year, I'm making a ginger-cinnamon champagne cocktail as an aperitif (and a sparkling water version for the kiddos), a roasted pumpkin and butternut squash salad with goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette, herb and lemon roasted turkey, mushroom stuffing and gravy, spinach casserole, quick sweet pickled cucumbers and scallions, a pecan apple crumble topped with homemade nutmeg ice cream and cranberry cider.

LOL, I've to say the online dating or electronic dating has come a long way from the days of straight forward chat rooms. Far more and much more people are turning to on-line dating internet sites to screen prospective dates.

I have tried Tropical Cuisine a couple of times and have found that there best plate is the mofongo with their salsa criolla (broth) and meat; the broth adds great taste to the plantains and helps prevent that bland texture and taste others reviews have mentioned. Overall I have really enjoyed the food here is very tasteful but the staff is disorganized and the service is slow (had my plate messed up twice the same night). I would give it another shot just because the food is good and its something you cant find anywhere else in Madison.

I really wanted to like Tropical Cuisine, but was very disappointed. The restaurant set-up was disorganized and not well planned out. I ordered the mofongo, which took an extremely long time to arrive. When it did arrive it was bland, lacking enough garlic and chicharones. I am also accustomed to mofongo being served with a broth for dipping, of which there was none. The staff was pleasant, and I would try the restaurant again, I just hope they get it together and take feedback to heart.
